Can I Change the Name or Dedication After Ordering?

In short: Before you order, you can change everything – name, photo, eye color, dedication, cover – as often as you like. After you order, email us right away at hello@fablewish.com with your order number and the correction: as long as your book hasn't been sent to print, we can usually still change it. Once it's printing, it can't be changed – so please double-check the spelling in the cart.

Before you order: change anything

  • Name: type it exactly as it should appear – nicknames are fine.
  • Photo and cover: try another photo or look at other cover options in the free preview.
  • Dedication: write, rewrite, or leave it empty.
  • Format: paperback, hardcover or e-book.

Your entries are shown again in the cart under the book. Please check the spelling there before checkout.

After you order: email us quickly

  1. Email hello@fablewish.com with your order number.
  2. Write exactly what should change: "Name should be Zoë, not Zoe".
  3. We'll confirm whether the change is still possible. Before printing, it usually is.

What if the printed book has a different name than I entered?

If the printed book shows a name or dedication different from what you entered, that's our mistake – tell us within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it free of charge, or refund you if you prefer. If the name was misspelled when ordering, a reprint is not free, because the book was printed as entered. See our Refund Policy.

Can I change the name after ordering?

Email hello@fablewish.com right away with your order number. Before the book goes to print, we can usually still change it.

Can I change the dedication?

Yes, as freely as the name: anything before ordering, and by email after ordering until the book goes to print.

What if you printed the wrong name?

If the book shows a different name than you entered, we reprint it free of charge – just tell us within 30 days of delivery.

Can I use a nickname or a name with accents?

Yes. Type the name exactly as you want it in the book.
