1. Who we are

Fablewish is operated by Edanox Group LLC (“Fablewish,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between Fablewish and you. By using our website or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you upload a photo of a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have the permission of the child’s parent or legal guardian.

3. Our product

We create personalized children’s books. Based on the photo and details you provide (name, gender, eye color and an optional dedication), we illustrate your child as the main character and print the book on demand.

Illustrations are created with the help of AI-assisted tools. Before you order, you can see a free preview of your book cover created from your photo and, if you wish, choose between a few alternative covers. The preview shows the cover only. The remaining illustrations are created scene by scene after you place your order and may differ slightly in style and detail from the preview. Small differences from the photo – for example hairstyle, clothing, pose or facial expression – are part of the artistic interpretation and are not defects, as long as your child is recognizable as the main character. Minor color differences between screen and print are also normal.

4. Your details and photos

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter, including the spelling of names and the dedication, your selections and the shipping address. Please review all details carefully before ordering – we print exactly what you submit. Errors resulting from your input are not defects.

You keep all rights to the photos and text you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them solely to create your preview and your book and to have it printed and shipped. We do not use your photos for advertising or to train AI models.

5. Content standards

Do not upload photos or text that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or that show other people without their consent, or photos of children you are not authorized to share. We may refuse or cancel any order that violates these standards and will refund any payment in full.

6. Orders, prices and payment

All prices are shown in US dollars and are payable in full at checkout. Shipping within the United States is free. Sales tax, where applicable, is calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Shopify Payments; we do not store your full payment details. An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. Production starts after payment has been authorized.

7. Production and shipping

Every book is printed to order by our print partner. Estimated production and delivery times are shown in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Because every book is made just for you, all sales are final once production has started. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, we will reprint it or refund you. Details are in our Refund Policy.

9. Intellectual property

Our stories, texts, illustrations and designs are protected by copyright. You may use your book for personal purposes, including sharing it on social media. Commercial use, reproduction or resale requires our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and to the extent permitted by law, our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from content you uploaded in violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or an order shall be resolved in English, through binding arbitration or the competent courts, at our discretion, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.
