About the story

How do I create a book?

Are my photos safe?
Yes. We use your photo only to create your preview and your child’s character for your book. We never sell or publish it, and it is not used to train AI models. Photos and previews without an order are deleted automatically within 30 days. Want it deleted sooner? Contact us.
How are the illustrations made?
Your photo is turned into an illustrated character with the help of AI and placed into the scenes of the story. Small differences from the photo, such as hairstyle or clothing, are part of the artistic interpretation.
How long does delivery take?
Every book is printed to order, just for your child. Printing and shipping usually take about 2–3 weeks in total (usually 12–15 business days from your order). Shipping within the US is free on every order. Details in our Shipping Policy.
Can I change something after ordering?
Only while production hasn’t started yet – please contact us right away. That’s why it’s best to double-check the name and dedication before you order.
What age is the book for?
For reading aloud from about age 2, for reading on their own in elementary school – and for anyone who loves seeing themselves as the hero.
Can I return my book?
Personalized books are final sale because they’re made just for your child. If anything is wrong with the print, we’ll make it right – see our Refund Policy.
